Just wanted to share this with everyone on my VOX.
Kilian totally broke this beat and made a crazy beat EVEN MORE crazier!
This version is produced and mixed by me whereas Kilian's version on his blog has been mixed by Marc Styles who did a bang up job! Major props to Marc for that mix!
This is my mix, i've got Kilian's version on my studio PC and i'll add it to this blog on Sunday night alternatively you can check it out on his blog... http://kilian.vox.com/library/post/im-a-superstarmp3.html
Make some noise and spread the word about this track! It's a huge tune and has MAJOR crossover potential!
I'm currently pushing this one out to radio station djs i've built relationships with so fingers crossed it'll be violating the airwaves soon enough!
I'm gonna work on a couple of other variations of the mix but either way the track is FIRE!
The next version i'm gonna post up will be a full mixed and mastered version once i've pinned down which mix i want to run with!
Feedback, as always, is more than welcome!
Thanks for listening.Kang.
"I'm a beast, I'm a dog, I'm the motherfuckin' problem! Ok so you're a goon but what's a goon to a goblin?! NOTHIN'!..." - Lil Wayne. (slighty edited lyrics but you get the point!) lol
Enjoy the music...

Stick with it people, don't worry about the A&Rs on VOX not being as vocal as they used to be!
Stay on your grind and keep at it!
I know sometimes you just think "fuck it, what's the point? Posting my music online is like putting a demo CD under a rock in hope of someone important tripping over and rock and finding the CD"... Have faith and keep at it.
There are loads of other methods to hit up A&R folk.
Last month i had the biggest phone bill of my life because i was calling managers, A&Rs, assistants in all kinds of countries... It was crazy! This month doesn't seem to be letting up either, i'm gonna be doin more hours at work just to be sure i can afford to pay my phone bill AND put petrol in the car!
My music IS getting heard by the right people, it's a long and bumpy road with dead ends scattered all over the place, but believe me... greatness does happen. Just have faith and keep working at it!
Also... DON'T LIMIT YOURSELF TO THESE SHORES!!!
Did you know that...
- N'Sync was originally A&R'd from BMG Munich in Germany?
- Celine Dion was originally A&R'd from Sony Quebec in Canada?
- Britney Spears is A&R'd from Zomba Amsterdam in Holland?
- Ricky Martin was originally A&R from Sony Mexico?
These are MAJOR artists who were discovered by A&R folk outside of their "target" country! How crazy is that?!
Reach out to people from all over the place, because who knows, getting turned down in the UK doesn't mean anything... It just means there's an A&R somewhere else in the world who's going to love your music!
Keep in mind that a setback is a setup for a comeback!
Also don't limit yourself to just pitching songs to A&R! An A&R has a whole network of people that he/she trusts i.e. djs, record store owners, promoters etc etc. These people all filter towards the A&R and are a godo way to get your music in the right hands.
For example if a dj hears your music and loves it what do you think he/she will do? Pass it onto the next person in the chain, the person who receives it won't even ask questions... Why? Because it has come from someone who has been certified by a bigwig A&R at the label. These people within the A&R network are trusted people who the A&R rely on heavily so their opinion counts for a lot!
All you have to do is find the initial connect and it's game on!
That's it from me folks... I've gone on for long enough me thinks! lol
I hope some of the above info is of some use to some people!
Keep making great music and strive to better your craft.

Did anyone watch this live on the night? I missed it but i saw it the next day on youtube!
I've seen the performance before on youtube at another event but it was much better on BGT.
The judges were really shocked and i think these guys can win if they can pull out bigger suprises!
Kang.
Why did I call it The Hiccups? Have a listen and you'll know! ;)
I sampled a hiccup, chopped it up and did something with it. I also sampled some mobile phone interference and worked it into the track. It's very subtle compared to the hiccups but it's in there! ;)
This beat is still a concept and i'm still working on it. The mix is very rough but it's still good... If that makes any sense! Oh well! :P
Enjoy!
